01 — The Problem
What this build solves.
01
Browser → todo gap
Task snippets live in email, docs, and tabs — retyping them into the app breaks flow.
02
Same rules as the app
Category, priority, and due logic must match Mia’s add-task / enrichment behavior.
03
One Firestore store
Extension tasks must appear on the Mia list under the same guest uid.
04
Optional AI classify
Keyword fallbacks should work offline-ish; Gemini Auto when a key is configured.
02 — How It Works
Architecture at a glance.
Paste task, review title / category / due / priority / notes, send to Mia
Natural-language due, priority cues, category keywords matching the app
Optional classify via the same prompt style as the Flutter enrichment path
Writes users/{uid}/tasks with status: enriched and timestamp fields
| Layer | Technology | Role |
|---|---|---|
| Extension | Chrome MV3 | Popup + service worker + contextMenus |
| Parse | JavaScript | Due / priority / category extraction |
| AI | Gemini API | Optional Auto classification |
| Auth | Firebase Auth REST | Anonymous or email session |
| Store | Firestore REST | Task documents for Mia |
03 — Highlights
What ships today.
